Qualtex’s Green Initiative
Our Conscientious Sustainability Plan
Sustainability, protecting our environment and our future are at the core of what we do at Qualtex. Here are five points to our green sustainability packaging plan.
1. Repair Not Replace
Our lifeblood has been giving the power to keep appliances going to as many people as possible. We believe that customers should have the choice, knowledge, parts and opportunity to repair their trusted pieces of equipment, and that the net positives of preserving old machinery are going to be a substantial part of any effort to protect our environment and conserve our natural resources.
To this end, we offer an expansive and growing range of vacuum cleaner parts and consumable items so you only need to replace the parts that are not working.
2. Paper Tape
Switching away from non-recyclable materials is critical in keeping Qualtex sustainable and ensuring its impact on the environment is as low as possible. One step we have made towards this is the switch from non-recyclable packaging tape to paper, which is as easily recyclable as our cardboard packaging. This is just one step we are taking to make recycling easier for our customers and enable them to more easily bring a conscientious green policy to their business.
3. Reducing Waste
At Qualtex we are finding practical ways to reduce our carbon footprint. The first step is to reduce our use of non-recyclable materials in our packaging and encourage the purchase of loose items where possible. We are now reducing the amount of outer plastic used when packaging your orders to protect our environment. We are conscientiously evolving our policies regarding packaging and delivery to ensure our environmental impact is as low as possible, we hope you join us on this campaign.
4. Ink Reduction
At Qualtex, we are finding practical ways to reduce our carbon footprint. The first step is to reduce our use of non-recyclable materials in our packaging and encourage the purchase of loose items where possible. We are now reducing the amount of outer plastic used when packaging your orders to protect our environment. We are conscientiously evolving our policies regarding packaging and delivery to ensure our environmental impact is as low as possible. We hope you join us on this campaign.
5. Informative Packaging
Our new box format reduces the amount of ink we use and features informative ways we are reducing our ecological footprint, as well as instructions to recycle our packaging to help the environment even further.
6. Why You Should Recycle Our Packaging
6.1 The images of the Goods on our site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the Goods accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colors accurately reflects the color of the Goods. Goods (and their packaging) may vary slightly from those images.
6.2 Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, lengths, materials, weights, capacities, dimensions, and measurements indicated on our site may vary slightly from those actual measurements.
6.3 All Goods shown on our site are subject to availability. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible if the Goods you have ordered are not available.
7. Our Liability
At Qualtex, we are doing our utmost to ensure that as much of our packaging as possible can be easily recycled by the vast majority of recycling programs, whether you are a small business or have a larger bespoke waste recycling program. Our aim with our new green sustainability plan is that every part of our packaging can be recycled easily as part of any standard recycling plan. We practice what we preach and recycle everything we possibly can internally.
One of the biggest things that not only drains our planet’s precious resources is manufacturing, because of how much power it consumes to get raw materials (especially in electrical products given how rare these minerals can be) and the power to turn them into the products we use every day. Only replacing the parts that don’t work and keeping appliances going reduces the need to replace and means those resources are preserved for longer.
